Happy Valentine's Day

i attempted the Purl Bee's Valentine Heart Barrette for miss olivia. super fun, can't wait to make a few more. here she is modeling it for me this valentine's day.

big brother would only let me take a picture of him with his volcano book. he is really into volcanoes lately. i swear we've made 3 or 4 already this month.

olivia's 1st birthday

today is olivia's first birthday. she really does complete our family and we could not be more blessed that God graced us with a little girl. there are days when i could squeeze her sweet little body and take a bite out of those gorgeous chubby thighs! 

olivia's first word was "mama", she can take 4 steps, she cracks herself up, her smile literally lights up a room, she claps, blows kisses, waves goodbye and shows you that she is one on demand, she adores her big brother, she loves any and every kind of food, cuddles up to fabric and stuffed animals, she screams in delight when taking baths, she is so ready to talk and she is already pretend playing with big brother's toys.

i couldn't fit all of these olivia facts on this pictures so i picked a few of my favorite.

then i couldn't decide which pictue i liked better so i'm adding both. can't help it, i'm biased.

Last night Ozzie and I watched The Sound of Music which is one of my favorite movies, especially at Christmas. Of course, Ozzie loved the song, My Favorite Things, who wouldn't?

Any way, it got me thinking. Just in case my husband, my parents, my grandparents or a really generous friend wants to complete my favorite things wishlist this Christmas.

Baby's First Halloween

We saved Ozzie's pumpkin onesie knowing that if we had another child we would keep up this tradition. So glad we did. Ozzie was just three months old and Olivia is 9 months old. I'm sure you can tell by how the onesie fits.
